About Pearce Willams:
Pearce Williams is a not-for-profit camp and registered charity.
We run a children’s summer camp and a year-round retreat centre.
We are part of The United Church of Canada.
Our 175-acre property has forests, hills, and open spaces.
Since 1960, we have welcomed children from near and far.
Our mission is to welcome all, teach all who want to learn, and serve God in all we do.
We believe a week of camp lasts a lifetime and that every child deserves a week at camp.
What the Board Does:
The Board helps guide the future of camp.
They think BIG and plan ahead.

The Board does not run daily camp work. Staff and the Executive Director do that.
Who Should Apply:
You do not need Board experience.

Meetings & Commitments:
This is a hybrid board.
You will:

Meet once a month
(online or in person) -
Meet on the third Wednesday, 7:00–9:00 pm

No meetings in July or August
Attend In-Person:

Fall retreat

Spring AGM and retreat
The Term:
This is a volunteer role.
