At Pearce Williams Christian Centre Summer Camp & Retreat Facility, our aim is to provide the best summer camp experience for your child.  Pearce Williams strives to do this in a non-competitive, caring way, allowing your child to discover the world around them, while promoting success, self-confidence and self-esteem in a safe, secure and stimulating environment, while living and growing within our Christian community.

The emphasis is always on participation, effort and attitude!  We feel that camp is a unique place where every child can be a winner.  We provide campers with the opportunity to become part of a family, where they can take healthy risks, get rewarded for successes and develop self-esteem and life skills.  In the meantime they will learn about independence, interdependence, tolerance, responsibility, friendship and loyalty.

It is at summer camp that they learn to take risks, learn to resolve conflicts in a natural manner, learn to appreciate and protect our environment, learn to stay healthy, learn to be responsible for their personal belongings, and learn to have fun with unabashed enthusiasm.

The Slums Built a Wall!

The slums made a wall at immersive night!

You'll alwaysbe my hero!.png

Last night youth camp held our final immersive night of 2018. Many things happened and many rules were changed. Culture groups were no longer allowed to steal unless they wanted a fine of at least a quarter f their resources. Another culture group was added known as the refugee's. Refugee'shave no building and no resources. They however know where the drinking water is but another culture group could get there before them. We had four refugee's who were later taken into the Thailand culture. The slum's formed a wall of protection and only made trades when at their wall. However the wall was destroyed by a slum's member later into the night. Past campers were elder's and were stuck at their culture the whole night.

Blue and Yellow competition continue's to heat up. Blue being slightly in the lead. Today a series of water events and tasks will begin in which they can score points. Battlestilts champion round is also today with many more fun things in store. Lastly our annual barn festival is tonight in which everyone will dress nicely.

Check tomorrow to see how our last day of camp goes.
