If you’re stuck at home, here’s a classic camp recipe that you and your campers can easily make! No bake is a staple of our cookout night dinners. Sweet, sticky and easy to make! A big thanks to Momma Bear for giving us the inside scoop! Stay tuned for more!
Momma Bear’s No Bake
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups oatmeal
3 Tbsp cocoa
2/3 cup shredded or flaked sweetened coconut
Combine liquid ingredients in a medium sized pot over medium-high heat. Stir until boiling. Remove from heat. Stir in dry ingredients all at once until combined well. Eat warm from the pot with a spoon.
Alternative: drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper lined cookie sheets and chill until firm.
